Terminal Depths
Control a submarine using a command terminal.
An intentionally vague and experimental experience with a well of text-commands, tools and strategies to methodically learn and master.
Shoot, scan, search and collect as you navigate your vessel through a series of dark, claustrophobic, increasingly confusing and perilous deep-sea caverns.
This game was made for the Alphabet Superset, a creativity challenge about making a new creative piece for each letter of the alphabet.
T is for 'terminal' (or maybe 'text'?)
To be honest, this game's development was dragging towards the end.
The main text-command system was completed in a week, but it required a lot of supporting mechanics to make it worth while. The true scope of the idea was hidden.
But I am proud of the result and happy with the lessons I learnt along the way.
Thanks for playing!

The idea it's so cool and fresh well done man!
Hey thanks for the kind words! Glad you like it.
If you do want to try finish your run, you can use the 'continue' command on the title screen to load into your current mission.
I'll be putting out a patch soon to make some hidden commands more transparent.
