Pen.
A simple spacial puzzle about trying to fit pen doodles into some limited notepad space.
Inspired by the spacial puzzle game-play of Tetris or 1010. And also the brain-dump doodles you might find penned into exam notepads in school bags or at office desks around the world. Or at least I think the experience is that universal.
HOW TO PLAY:
- MOVEMENT: Doodles follow mouse position or left stick movement
- PLACEMENT: Left Mouse, Enter or (Xbox) A on a gamepad.
- ROTATION: Q/E or Left/Right or right stick on gamepad.
- RESTART: R or Select on gamepads
- MAIN MENU: Escape or Start
- CHALLENGE: A timed mode challenging you to complete a panel before the clock runs out. Place a doodle to reset the timer.
- FREEPLAY: A creative mode that includes all doodles available in the game, with no time pressure. Receive drawings randomly and arrange them however you fancy. Right Click or (Xbox) Y to finish your current collage.
This game was made for the Alphabet Superset, a creativity challenge about making a new creative piece for each letter of the alphabet.
P is for 'paper' (or 'pen').
Thank you for playing!

this is fun!
Thank you! :)
this is wonderful!! one of my favorites so far. if i can constructively critique -- the controls are a little imprecise and i'm finding that a little frustrating. but this is a really fun and cool idea that i'll be playing more!!
Thank you for following the set this far :)
I really appreciate the constructive feedback. I have a list of feedback I'm gaining throughout this project. This game has turned out to be more popular than expected so your feedback will definitely if I decide to give this game a second look after finishing the alphabet.
